I can receive the 5 GHz signal on my iPhone but not on my notebook. I have a Linksys router transmitting on both 2.4 and 5 GHz.

Update drivers with the largest database available. Go to Device Manager/Network adapters and click the arrow, click the wifi adapter and driver. I thought that it could at least find the single band of 2.4ghz, but it can't find my WiFi altogether.

I have an ASUS notebook running Windows 10 64 bit OS. Get the latest official Qualcomm Atheros AR956x Wireless network adapter drivers for Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP PCs. From what I could gather it does not support 5ghz.
